Replace Surgery Chiller

Smith Hafeli was contracted to remove and replace the rooftop chiller serving the surgical suites in Building 1 at the Marion VA Medical Center. The project involved complete demolition of the existing unit and installation of a new chiller system in accordance with the construction documents, manufacturer specifications, and all applicable VA, local, state, and federal codes. This critical infrastructure upgrade ensures continued, reliable climate control for surgery spaces—supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted medical operations.
