SIUE Door Replacement

Smith Hafeli is proud to serve as a project partner on the new 176,000 square foot Health Sciences Building at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, working alongside Poettker Construction and Clayco. This three-story, state-of-the-art facility—funded through the Illinois Capital Development Board—will bring together the School of Pharmacy and the School of Nursing on SIUE’s core campus. The building will feature academic classrooms, synthetic chemistry labs, nursing wet labs, pharmacogenomics, biochemistry, microbiology, a vivarium, and faculty office space. Construction began in March 2024, and the project reached a major milestone in October 2024 with the “final pour” of structural concrete. Smith Hafeli is honored to support this $105 million investment in the future of healthcare education.
