RRTP Floor Repairs

Smith Hafeli was contracted to replace vinyl flooring and wall base throughout designated areas of Building 81—the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP)—at the Marion VA Medical Center. The project scope included removal and disposal of existing materials, substrate testing and preparation, and installation of new resilient tile flooring and base in compliance with VA specifications. All work was completed under strict infection control measures, with daily coordination meetings held with VA staff to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The project adhered to all applicable codes and VA standards, including NFPA 101 and PG-18-3 Design Guidelines.
