Construct Training & Administrative Support Space

Smith Hafeli was selected to execute the full renovation and infrastructure buildout of the EHRM Training and Administrative Space at the Marion VA Medical Center. This multi-disciplinary project includes general construction, demolition, site grading and drainage, new utility installation, interior architectural finishes, and MEP upgrades to support the VA’s Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Work involves a complete transformation of the basement level, including selective structural modifications, construction of office and training areas, equipment installation, fire suppression upgrades, advanced technology integration, and dedicated mechanical/electrical systems—all performed under strict compliance with VA standards, infection control requirements, and federal construction codes. The project is scheduled for completion within a 365-day performance period.
