Jefferson Elementary School Media Center & Classroom Renovations

Smith Hafeli was selected to lead the full renovation of the Jefferson Elementary Media Center following structural damage. The project began with the demolition of compromised interior and exterior materials, followed by a complete rebuild. Interior work included new metal stud and gypsum wall assemblies, painting, acoustical ceilings (ACT), luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, metal lockers, LED lighting, and gypsum ceilings and soffits. Exterior improvements included tuckpointing, window resetting, new brick and cast stone installation, aluminum gutters and downspouts, custom signage, concrete foundations, site work, metal soffits, standing seam and EPDM roofing systems, and metal stud infill with EIFS. All work was supported by corresponding structural and electrical upgrades to ensure a modern, durable, and student-ready learning environment.
