Renovations to Dental Clinic

Smith Hafeli was contracted to install nine new doors with automatic openers at the Marion VA Medical Center dental treatment clinic, located in Buildings 1 and 38. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to complete the installation in full compliance with VA construction standards, codes, and infection control protocols. Because the dental clinic remained operational throughout the project, demolition and installation were carefully phased and coordinated with the VA’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and dental service staff. The project emphasized precision, minimal disruption to care, and strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards in an active clinical environment.
