Replace Insulation Throughout Medical Facility

Smith Hafeli was contracted to remove and replace inadequate thermal insulation across multiple facilities at the Marion VA Medical Center. Work spanned Building 49 (Chiller Plant), Buildings 1, 2, 38, 42, 43, and the pedestrian tunnel. The project involved selective demolition, repair of existing systems, and installation of new thermal insulation, all performed in compliance with VA Master Specifications, applicable codes, and construction drawings. The work improved energy efficiency and system performance throughout the campus.
